Annual Report Filings
All Florida businesses must submit their annual reports by May 1st each year to remain in good standing.
Missing this deadline will result in a $400 late penalty imposed by the state.
If your business fails to file by the third Friday in September, the Florida Department of State will dissolve or revoke your business status at the close of business on the fourth Friday in September. Reinstating your business after this requires additional fees.

Missed Your Renewal?
If you do not renew your fictitious name on time, your registration will automatically expire.
Once expired, you cannot renew or reinstate it.
Instead, Florida law requires that you file a brand-new fictitious name application, which may involve additional steps and fees.
Avoid the hassle by renewing on time through Florida Corporate Filing Center.
